Job Purpose and Summary
The Candidate will lead the development and growth of the Office Personal Products business across the CCNA (Canon Central & North Africa) markets by fulfilling the role of product champion for all business development, marketing and sales activities in cooperation with EMBU, Sales Team, Marcoms & Partners.

The Candidate will be responsible for promoting Canon Products & Solutions awareness and profile across the regions via events, PR, Marcoms activities, internal promotion, and partner collaboration. He / She will also be responsible for designing action plans for country support and regional marketing / sales activity to stimulate market awareness and sales achievement.
The candidate will also be responsible for:
1. Sales & Marketing Budget preparation & Implementation
· Annual Sales & Marketing budget with a proper balance of HQ direction and local market needs in coordination with Sales team.
· Monitor and review monthly sales performance for assigned product group to ensure smooth sales movements in line with the agreed sales plan, and take appropriate remedial action.
2. GP (Gross Profit) Management
· Monitor and control of GP through tracking of special promotion pricing and tender deals at the point of
i. agreeing special pricing with the sales team and
ii. follow up at actual delivery period for tracking of incoming (from Europe) and outgoing (to customer) support.
3. Pricing / Product positioning
· Decide market specific product pricing and positioning based on competitive landscape and market dynamics.
· Conduct meaningful discussions with EMBU to achieve required pricing.
· Support the Area Sales team for Tender pricing, Key accounts & Special deals. Also, responsible for Tender Pipeline management in co-ordination with Area sales.
4. Product Launch & Promotion
· Co-ordinate the planning and schedule of new product launches together with internal staff in order to support the timely and successful launch of new products into Middle East & African markets.
· Manage the Product Life Cycle for the products from Launch to End of Life through required strategy, promotions & schemes.
· Drive Strategic Product / Targets in line with the management direction.
· Work out campaigns, deals and offers in coordination with Sales team.
· Customized Promotion plan for local and regional E-commerce companies.
5. Marketing / Business Development Activities
· Plan, manage and co-ordinate the execution of various market development activities within company guidelines and to meet the agreed quality standards, time planning and budgets.
· Advising on localized POS materials in coordination with Marcom and Sales team.
6. Co-ordination with EMBU
Ensure smooth & continuous communication with EMBU for all activities related to Budget preparation, Support discussions, Product launches, Monthly performance management, other reports & submissions in line with requirements.

Interpersonal Requirements
· A strong go getter willing to act and respond quickly to ever evolving African market dynamics.
· Ability to communicate and relate to subjects, issues and clients at many levels
· Excellent communication skills and requisite diplomatic/ negotiation skills
· Excellent Market Knowlgede and willingness to be "Closer to the market"
Previous Experience/ Education
· Proven track record of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles within International or Regional Sales Companies or National Distributors .
· Relevant recognized formal qualifications (University level)
· Fluency in written and spoken English. French is an advantage.
· Professional apperance, attitude and communication style.
· Familiarity with MS Office applications.
· Be based in UAE is highly desirable.
