Job Purpose and Summary
In this exciting role, you will lead the planning, creation and delivery of specific, targeted value propositions and activities for focussed B2B target markets.
Working closely with Marketing and Sales Excellence colleagues, you will ensure the delivery of targeted campaigns and programmes throughout each stage of the customer buying cycle, drawing insight from external sources, industry associations and customer interactions.
As a pivotal member of the B2B Marketing Excellence team, your success will be measured onValue Proposition relevance, target market penetration, lead generation, pipeline velocity and win rates.

You’ll own and manage all related proposition development and ongoing iterations for your allocated propositions within the UK National Sales Organisation (NSO) and will work with colleagues across EMEA where relevant.
As subject matter expert, you'll stay current on key developments within your proposition set and keep your stakeholders up-to-date on these trends.
For your allocated target segments, you'll create impactful and compelling original client-facing content for all stages of the buying cycle, supporting the marketing and sales teams on key campaigns and initiatives.
Partnering with teams across the company, you will develop core proposition content and thought leadership pieces through working with leading industry influencers to align, collaborate and co-create market relevant propositions.
As part of the EMEA-wide Value Proposition team you will ensure your allocated propositions meet EMEA standards and are effective in all relevant NSOs, and will ensure all other propositions not directly developed inyour NSO are accurately utilised to meet your NSO’s business objectives.
Your effective delivery will help accelerate opportunities through the pipeline through strong understanding of value propositions and programmatic campaigns
Working closely with Marketing Excellence colleagues, you will aid the Value Propositions team in managing advisory communications, strategy and engagement programmes.
As a virtual member of the EMEA Field Marketing community, you will share and leverage best practice to ensure effective delivery of relevant content and programmes by staying current on key developments within core propositions, keeping your stakeholders up-to-date on these trends, and creating original client-facing propositions for all stages of the purchase journey, supporting the marketing and sales teams on key campaigns and initiatives.

We're looking for creative problem-solvers like you, someone who can ensure Canon stays ahead in an ever-changing world.You must be a knowledgeable marketer with at proven experience of delivering customer marketing programmes. Experience of proposition development for particular segments (vertical, persona etc.) is preferred.
With a background in B2B marketing, you will need to combine your knowledge of customer requirements with a deep understanding of Canon’s entire B2B product and service offering to drive pipeline growth and acceleration through engaging and relevant programmes to a target group of customers and prospects. Experience in a technology environment is preferred.
A collaborative working style and team mentality will be required as you remain abreast of key strategies and operations for joint sales and marketing ventures across NSO and EMEA teams, and implement these strategies and operations where relevant.
Keeping track of market movements and competitor offerings, you will continuously assess effectiveness, impact and engagement of your content with defined KPIs.
You will work with Campaign Strategists to inform and contribute to content campaign calendars and make data-driven decisions to inform and improve propositions.
You'll also need to use tools and techniques for collecting, collating and analyzing information information on existing markets and the competitive landscapes in order to meet market needs.

Salary: £36,125 - £43,072 + 5% or 10% Bonus, depending on experience.12 months contract
