Job Purpose and Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Professional to work closely with the Sales Channels to drive the delivery of the B2B Channel marketing activity in the second half of 2016 and the first quarter of 2017.

Acting as a key interface between B2B Marketing and B2B Sales Channels, you will enable effective marketing engagement to optimise sales effectiveness through ownership and full use of the channel communications infrastructure.  This includes ownership of delivering optimum content through a diverse communications infrastructure of weekly newsletters, monthly B2B marketing update presentations, regular webex’s, marketing podcasts, sales and marketing forums, sales enablement platforms (PACE, PartnerNet), internal social media channels and marcoms platforms.

Further responsibilities will be to drive and support key channel programmes such as sales incentives, demand generation campaigns, sales enablement platform management and development, project management of marketing led events, and ownership of relationships with key strategic Public Sector organisations.

You will be a subject matter expert on the specific needs of Sales, Partners and the internal Indirect channel, enabling the wider marketing department to deliver relevant, effective activity and communications. 

You will own the CUK&I Partner Programme, localise the European Partner Programme as required for the local market, and enable the channel to optimise the benefits of this programme through education, sharing of collateral, and issuing Partner Programme collateral directly to Partners.  Your responsibilities will also include liaison with Canon Europe to influence the development of the European programme, and your NSO counterparts to share best practice. 

Additional day to day responsibilities will include liaison with Europe regarding the launch of a new Partner Portal and the creation and distribution of a monthly price list for the Indirect Channel. 

You will ensure regular Marketing attendance, either personally or through co-ordination of wider Marketing team, within channel sales meetings to ensure sales are aware of all available marketing initiatives to support optimum sales effectiveness, and to capture and feedback relevant Sales and customer insights, making appropriate recommendations to marketing management as to how marketing can improve sales productivity and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a marketing degree or CIM diploma, and marketing experience, preferably in a sales / channel facing role.  We are keen to support you in your continued development and aspiration to deliver marketing excellence.

Salary - £36,724 pro rata +5% Bonus (  pro rata 6 months bonus)
