Job Purpose and Summary

As part of your 12-month Apprenticeship, the Learning & Development Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the Learning & Development team and People Development Manager to effectively manage learning curriculum to support the business.

·  Learning Management System: Support the learning management system processes including creating and submitting learning object forms to create events and content in the LMS. Creating session requests as required. Liaising with the Central Operations team and local co-ordinators as required to ensure communication is accurate and effective.
·  External training providers: Liaise with external training providers to arrange suitable dates for identified and agreed external training. Responsibility for ensuring that purchase orders are raised in a timely manner and are accurate. Ensuring effective communication with the external training provider and the internal ‘customer’. Responsibility for completing the process to set up new suppliers were approved to deliver training. Responsibility for ensuring cost effective delivery of external training.
·  Learning & Development budget: Responsible for maintaining accurate records to monitor and track the central L&D budget. Responsibility for ensuring that purchase orders are raised in a timely manner and are accurate.
·  Solutions Training: Support the People Development Manager and the Learning Operations team as and when required to ensure effective planning for solutions training including monitoring the wait list. 
·  Responsibility for ensuring that purchase orders are raised in a timely manner and are accurate. Ensuring effective communication with thesolutions training provider and the internal ‘customer’ including the ‘advertising’ of available training. Ensure that curriculum and catalogue information for solutions training is maintained and up to date.
·  Curriculum: Ensure that learning paths, curriculum and catalogue information for all training is maintained and up to date, including liaison with the LMS team to ensure these are accurately reflected in the system. 
·  Reporting: Create the standard monthly reports for the team. Review the wait list on a monthly basis and liaise with team members as and when required to plan sessions and/or send out communication.
