Operations Interns (Part-time and flexible hours)

Job description

Central/West London: Hiring an employee for handling all operational tasks in our lettings agency, including short lets and long lets. Work will be divided in some work from home (planning arrivals/departures, screening guests, ensuring everything is under control) and some on-site tasks like attending properties to meet guests, inspect the properties, carry on little fixes, assist professionals (plumbers, handyman) when needed.

This is a part-time job with very flexible working hours.

£500/month + travel expenses covered.

Due to the nature of our business (hospitality), there will be some days where you will have to work only in the morning, some only in the evening (sometimes very late) and some other days full-time.
The main target is to be on top of all operational tasks for the London Department of our company Canguro Properties (canguroproperties.com). We specialize in short and mid-term lettings and refurbishments in Central/West London. Main tasks will include:
- Organising and planning all arrivals/departures on a daily basis, ensuring everything is well organised and all the properties are ready. This part will be "work from home".
- Dealing and coordinating with our contractors (cleaning services, builders, etc) to ensure all tasks are carried on time
- Meeting guests on arrival and show them the properties
- Assisting (when needed) existing guests in case they are in need of assistance for any property-related problem
- Inspect properties regularly and after every departure ensure everything is well maintained. Highlight if there is anything that needs to be fixed.
- Being able to do small repairs/maintenance jobs
- Assist and coordinate professionals like plumbers, workers, handyman, when they are attending our properties for a job
- Supervising cleaning staff
- Visiting new potential customers/properties

Upon successful agreement we will sign a contract with a 1 month trial period, once confirmed the contract will last either 6 or 12 months.
