Job description

The Calzedonia Group is a fashion retail company specializing in the underwear, beachwear and hosiery markets. Founded in Italy in 1987, it has in 30 years established a network of more than 4,200 stores in 43 countries around the world.

 

In the UK market, we are operating three brands,  Calzedonia, Intimissimi and Tezenis from 14 stores in Central London, and the UK operation , based in Oxford Circus in London, in order to support its’ 150 employees, requires an:

 

HR MANAGER

 

As then HR Manager your main tasks and duties of the position would include:

·  managing the acquisition of talent by coordinating employer branding activities, recruiting and selecting the store staff, sales force and headquarter employees;
·  supporting management to improve capability, performance and talent  within the business and co-ordination with the training department
·  overseeing and managing the annual employee development review process and supporting the management in all the career development activities;
·  supporting and advising the management by administering a wide range of agendas for all workers,such as employment contracts or agreements, labor law issues, attendance records, attendance records and monthly review for any attendance problems, payment schedule;
·  ensuring cost control of human resources;
·  keeping in contact with the Calzedonia Group HR Department and implementation of the Group’s policies and guidelines.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

·  A bachelor or master degree;
·  A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Manager, preferably for a trading or retail company;
·  Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and methods, social/digital recruiting and new employer branding tools
·  Strong knowledge of local labour law;
·  Good knowledge of performance evaluation tools and methods
·  Good knowledge of HR analytics
·  English mother tongue. Knowledge of Italian is a plus
·  an innovative, flexible, retail and goal-oriented approach, excellent relational and organizational skills;
