Poste et missions

The US Equity Derivatives Trading team of Natixis is looking for an Associate- or VP-level Equity Derivatives Trader to join the trading desk. The US Equity Derivatives trading desk is focusing on pricing and hedging of structured products (stocks & indices) for the clients of Natixis North America. The team is also in charge of optimizing and centralizing the hedging of US risks within the bank on behalf of European and Asian trading books.

 

He/she/they will:

·  Utilize market experience and relationships to help expand Natixis Equity Derivatives client franchise.
·  Work independently and collectively with sales & structuring, both locally and globally, to develop bespoke solutions for clients and answer client requests.
·  Quote transactions for clients (from flow products, to QIS or more structured equity derivatives products)
·  Monitor North American equity markets and ensure up-to-date, accurate market parameters for the other desks of the bank to use for book valuation and pricing.
·  Hedge various North American risks of trading books in collaboration with European and Asian trading desks.
·  Work alongside quants and developers locally and globally to help improve trading tools & valuation models.
·  Work closely with all stakeholders with the monitoring of all qualitative and quantitative limits.
·  Lead the new product and project initiatives for the growing US equity derivatives trading desk.

The salary range for the Associate-level position will be between $150,000 - $175,000.  Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.  Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.  Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package.  Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.

 

The salary range for the VP-level position will be between $180,000 - $253,000.  Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.  Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.  Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package.  Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance

Profil et compétences requises

• Bachelor’s degree required and graduate level degree preferred. Quantitative degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Equities, derivatives and option trading/pricing required.
• 3+ years of market experience in a trading role (stock trading a plus).
• Established track record
• Familiarity with Equity derivatives systems such as Sophis, Bloomberg, Markit, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, VBA, excel.
• Demonstrated team player.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within tight deadlines, during bidding processes.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey thoughts clearly and succinctly and to communicate pertinent complex information in a clear and organized manner.
