Butterfly Consulting is a media agency working with publishers to expand their global business.
Our clients are leading international publishers, including Time Inc UK and Playboy Magazine.
Butterfly additionally work for media brands as an advertising sales agency.
Butterfly are seeking an Advertising Intern to work with our newest brand, Plug!n Magazine, the world’s first electric vehicle and eco-lifestyle brand.
The person is responsible for finding new advertisers and sponsors for the brand. Tasks will include researching most suitable fit advertisers and contacting potential advertisers to relate the advantages of appearing in Plug!n.
The ideal intern is interested in international media and advertising, loves using the telephone and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is a start-up business in a home office. Though Dorian Silver has run and owned media businesses for 23 years and have used interns in all businesses.

Desired profile

Qualifications

No formal qualifications in marketing or advertising are required though an interest in advertising is essential!
The right person is a good conversationalist interest in the media and advertising, who is excited by the challenge of advertising sale.
A good command of English, both written and spoken is essential.
A command of basic computer programmes is required and the ability to organise and research information.
This is an unpaid position, expenses for travel and lunch supplied.
