Project Assistant

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Receiving construction field reports and photos from site inspectors and proofing them for completeness and accuracy.
· Receiving and distributing construction documents and comments provided by BV plan reviewers
· Communicating and coordinating with Client, Contractor, Architects and Engineers and BV Field Inspectors
· Processing Contractor Estimates, Change Orders, and Monthly Pay Applications for BV Program Manager’s approval
· Maintaining detailed logs of incoming contractor information
· Preparing monthly reports
· Uploading documents to websites
· Stamping construction documents that are approved for construction and distributing to contractor
· Perform general administrative duties in support of the Program Manager, as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

· High School Diploma
· Fluent in English

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & ABILITIES:

· Performing administrative or project assistant duties, preferably in construction field
· Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
· Highly attentive to detail
· Extensive experience with computers and applications including but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and a willingness to learn new software programs, as assigned
· Browsing and uploading/downloading documents to/from the internet
· Strong work ethic
· Ability to use independent judgment
· Ability to work independently without supervision at times
· Excellent client service skills
· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· General office space
· Potential of travel and walking job sites (infrequent)
