Inspections
· Performs ASME/NB shop and other inspection services to assigned CIS clients, including review and verification, implementation and applicability of the manufacturers written quality control system and/or inspection specifications.
Mo nitoring/C ompliance
· Monitors client quality control systems for compliance with relevant codes and requirements.
· Documents and monitors the quality control system through ASME review and verification process.
· Ensures compliance with applicable sections of the ASME Code, National Board and jurisdictional requirements for fabrication activities and authorized inspection services.
Education/Training
· Acquires and maintains knowledge of updated applicable sections of ASME code and National Board and jurisdictional requirements. Continually enhances knowledge through self-study, region training, and approved courses.
· Must be a National Board AI Commissioned inspector with an Rendorsement.'
· Keeps abreast of the latest methods and techniques of inspection by active participation in an approved technical society.
Reports/Reviews
· Adheres to established company policies, directives and procedures, and ensures accurate and timely reporting and submission of the results for assigned activities.
· Assists the region supervisory staff in disseminating information to staff by preparing technical bulletins and performing in-shop staff training, as qualified.
· Assists in performing audits and joint reviews, as certified.
