The Associate Consultant Level II will work independently and/or as part of a team to provide technical and field support regarding the assessment of work place hazards as they relate to ergonomics.
Essential Functions:
· All Associate Consultant I functions
· Proficient in conducting Office Ergonomics Site Assessments with limited supervision and ability to conduct assessments of complex client settings properties with some limited compliance review aspects.
· Proficient in field data collection and gaining familiarity with non-office settings (manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, etc.). Understanding of anatomy and impacts of work loads
Competent in writing more complex reports (CEEs) with few mistakes. Can present to/train clients.
· Draft portions of technical reports, and prepare tables of field and analytical data.
· Will cross-train to assist health and safety groups in basic field tasks and reporting.
· Potential for sustainability and verification training and participation in verification and assurance engagements. Must participate in appropriate training and mentoring opportunities to participate. Ability to speak to clients about services offered in their primary field and identify opportunities. Can work with minimal supervision. Requires peer review.
· Education: B.S. required (Earth Sciences or engineering preferred), M.S. Desirable
· Experience: 1 - 3 years, (0-1 year with M.S.)
· Utilization goal of 85%
· Anticipated local and regional travel up to 50%.
Desired Skills:
· Existing regulatory certifications (e.g. asbestos, lead, mold) and/or OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPR experience in multiple industries
· Ability to complete assigned tasks within available project budget and timelines.
· Develop an understanding of the functional service offered regionally by the HSE group
Certifications:
CIE, CEA, AEP, CAE, CIH
