Job description
Bunzl Greenham have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Control Manager to join the team based in Sheffield ona full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum based on experience.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Stock Control Manager is responsible for all aspects of stock management at the branch.
Key responsibilities of the Stock Control Manager include:
- Maintaining stock levels in line with company KPI’s
- Ensuring customer service levels are maintained through appropriate stock management
- Liaising with suppliers
- Booking in of stock deliveries
- Resolving any queries relating to deliveries
- Liaising with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure all necessary information is communicated in a timely manner
- Working with the Operations team to ensure effective physical stock management
- Assist in managing redundant stock out of the business

- To demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness and a methodical approach to work.
- To be capable of working at a pace that matches the requirements of the business and recognise the importance of timely completion of tasks.
- Show a genuine interest in meeting customer needs in a way that benefits both the customer and the organisation, using their initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
- Applicants will be able to demonstrate they are computer literate, numerate, have good attention to detail, are logical and have a methodical approach to work.
