Location; Rathbone Place, London (5 mins from Tottenham Court Road)

The Honeycomb IoT platform underpins Hive, a rapidly evolving connected home product now used in hundreds of thousands of homes in the UK and Ireland. Honeycomb is supported by a number of technical teams with a wide range of software skills, all working in an Agile development environment. With the growth in size and number of those teams, there is a corresponding need for a scrum master to assist the planning, co-ordination, tracking and reporting of complex tasks undertaken by those teams.
What will you be doing?
You'll report to the Head of Web and Mobile, and be responsible for helping administer sprints, continually seeking to improve the velocity, visibility and predictability of development activity your team. This will involve activities such as:
· Overseeing an Agile team (up to 7 members) as scrum master
· Chair cross-team sprint planning and retrospective
· Collecting and reporting s print and velocity statistics for teams
· Sharing best practice with other scrum masters in the business, and make recommendations for process improvements
· You'll assist the technical teams with administration of work backlogs and estimation
· Reporting regularly on feature burndown and delivery to stakeholders
· Keeping Jira sprint scope aligned with longer term plans (delivery plans and roadmaps)
· You'll report on planning, progress and resolution of tracked operational issues
· Allocating accepted bugs to appropriate teams and sprints after triage
· Assisting scrum masters from other teams in tracking dependencies with their teams external teams
· Assisting team leads within Honeycomb in tracking dependencies between their teams
To be brilliant in this role you will have/be
· Cross functional team experience (mobile and web)
· Knowledge of responsive web application development cycle
· Hands on experience and good knowledge of Atlassian JIRA (generating reports, dashboards, sprint agile boards, burn up / down charts etc)
· Experience running agile events (planning, retrospectives, demos, stand ups etc)
· Experience in conducting Scrum of Scrums meetings. (Large scale Scrum)
· Excellent communication skills, with a close working relationship with Product Owner / UX Design team
· Knowledge and experience with CI (continuous integration), automated testing, issue management, code review and deployment
· Understanding of SOA architecture and cross-team collaboration
· Experience with setting up Agile practices from scratch and/or agile tools is a plus

· With your strong presentation, planning and organizational skills you have no trouble at engaging your time, delivering to deadlines and managing stakeholder relationships (at all levels)
· Able to work in a high paced multi team environment
· Your friendly and collaborative, but able to be assertive when required
· A technical background would be advantageous but not essential
