As part of continued development we currently have an opportunity for an Insight and Workflow Analyst based in our Leicester office. The Insight and Workflow Analyst will join the Business Improvement Team who operate across a number of improvement initiatives prioritised according to strategic fit and benefits at a customer and financial level. Our overarching objective is to help customers get out and stay out of debt and to prevent them from getting into debt in the first place.

The Role

This role provides the analytical support that is required to generate insight and recommendations that form part of the business’ delivery of effective collections strategy management for British Gas Business Customers

We are looking for someone who can facilitate a data driven approach to debt management

Key Responsibilities to include:

·  Develop workflow systems to manage collections activity with internal teams and third party partners, whilst ensuring systems are operating efficiently and securely.
·  Deliver MI and complete analysis to provide additional insight which will inform debt collections strategy and create performance tracking reports to track the effectiveness of specific work-stream activity
·  Build relationships across the wider businesses including: Operational teams, Customer Journeys, Finance, IS and associated Leadership teams

The Person

To be considered you must have relevant analytical experience, be highly numerate and preferably be a graduate in a statistics or similar numerate discipline. We are also looking for the following skills and experience:

·  Data management, MI & analytics experience (Advanced SAS skills (MACRO, SQL etc) with the ability to use SAS Enterprise Guide complete reporting and analytics
·  Familiarity with complex systems with proven ability to shape and deliver systems improvements
·  The ability to create robust systems and processes to facilitate various customer contact and account management activities with careful consideration of data security
·  Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data to solve problems logically
·  Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt content and detail as appropriate for the intended audience
·  Good time management skills, with the ability to priorities multiple deliverables
·  The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
·  Continually seeking to improve performance by asking for feedback. Showing a continued desire and passion to learn and taking on new challenges

The Company

Salary - £28,000 pro rata
