As part of continued development we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forecast and Planning Analyst based in our Leicester office. You will be tasked to create and maintain both strategic and tactical forecasts that help drive the business to deliver great customer service through accurate headcount planning and financial budgeting.

The Role
Within the role you will need to ensure we have the required staffing levels to meet customer demand and provide insight into trends and profiles to produce accurate forecasts. You will work with the business to plan frontline shrinkage to ensure service level targets are achieved and produce weekly/daily and intra-day forecasts. In addition there are the following responsibilities:
· Production and maintenance of long-term planning models
· Translation of weekly/daily forecast workloads into effective resource plans
· Liaise with other areas of British Gas and external sources to share best practice and implement where possible
· Analysis of MI across all key metrics to understand how to improve accuracy of forecast, required FTE and intraday profiling.
The Person
We are looking for individuals who have experience in long-term and capacity planning and who have a track record in forecasting both voice and non-voice channels. In addition we are looking for the following skills and experience:
· Experienced with work force management systems, including eWFM
· Strong analytical background with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Thorough understanding of resource planning models including erlang.
· An understanding of the external market place
· Strategic thinking and decision making
· Effective stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills
· Ability to manage change well
· Strong, positive communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the business / organisation.

Salary - £22,000 - £26,000 + benefits
