Overview

PH Jones, part of British Gas, is a provider of Gas Central Heating Service, Repair and Installations to the Social Housing market. We are now looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Manchester. The Role

You will be providing excellent customer service when arranging Engineers to visit customers with central heating breakdowns. You will need to take into account the needs of the customer and prioritise accordingly when allocating work to Engineers. Your day to day duties will include:

·  Answering phone calls and emails
·  Assist with the complaints escalation and resolution process
·  Log new customer calls ensuring client priorities are met
·  Allocate work to Engineers taking into consideration client needs
·  Trains junior staff members where necessary

The Person

To be brilliant in this role you will be:

·  Able to work well as part of a Customer Call Centre and Administration team
·  Understand good housekeeping for data protection etc
·  Conversant in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
·  Be able to communicate effectively with all customers and be able to resolve issues professionally
·  Apply excellent priority setting skills to ensure that the essential needs of the business are met at all times
·  Adapts to each customer request and is able to maintain a professional communicative manner at all times
