This is through both general maintenance and repair, from a standard service in the summer to a breakdown on Christmas Day. Once you have completed a 2 week induction in one of our excellent training Academies, you will be ready to represent British Gas. You will be issued with the following, a full uniform including PPE, a range of van stock including safety equipment and performance tester. We will also arm you with a British Gas laptop, this has the ability to diagnose faults in a few clicks for a wide range of appliances. We'll trust you to be the face of British Gas - using your technical expertise to service, diagnose faults and make repairs, whilst providing our customers with best advice on how to make energy savings.

We are looking for extensive experience in domestic service and repair to central heating systems and other appliances or products. You should hold as a minimum current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, CPA1 and HTR1, a full UK driving licence and your own panelled van. Current Gas Safe registration will also be required.

You must also be able to show that you have the Right to Work in the UK, be willing to provide a basic Disclosure (CRB) check that is no more than 3 months old prior to starting with us & have a minimum of £2m Public Liability Insurance / £5m Employer Liability Insurance. As British Gas are regulated by the FCA, we will also run a credit check against any subcontractor undertaking work on our behalf.
