British American Tobacco has a new exciting fixed term opportunity for a Crew Member to be part of our team in Harare, Zimbabwe.  

Our new colleague will play an important role in making sure the factory is running like clock work by doing top quality maintenance and assisting with different duties for full year.

 

Main accountabilities:

 

·  Assist the machine operator to carry out his duties by ensuring that all necessary preparations are made before and during the operations.
·  Ensure good housekeeping around the machine during and after the shift to reduce on weevil count and general cleanliness of the factory.
·  Avoid wastage of the product in order to bring down tobacco waste figures.
·  Assist in improving production processes and approaches to repairs of machinery for high productivity and good quality.
·  Report and advise Machine operator on the condition of machinery.
·  Ensure Environmental, Health and Safety program me are followed to provide a safe working environment in the factory.

 

Knowledge, skills, experience:

 

·  At least 6 moths of relevant experience
·  Must be able to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing
·  English Fluency in communicating and writing
·  An FMCG background will constitute an advantage
