The Trade Analyst will be responsible for the management and execution of Demand Planning processes and the collaboratively managed inventory processes along with APO and management of the Cycle Planning processes. In addition, the role is responsible for the analysis and reporting of Domestic and Duty-Free forecast projections and accuracy, sales and customer service/order fulfilment data to aid Demand Planning and Information Executive   in fact-based decision making for the business. By using his/her business acumen, you will need to :

 

·  Deliver on forecasting accuracy targets by ensuring current inputs and assumptions impacting base demand are captured in the forecast. Evaluate and explain variances to the forecast and link back to changes in original assumptions.
·  Optimize forecasting parameters and APO functionality to drive improvements to the statistical baseline.
·  Lead the development and delivery of commercial cycle instructions for the National Trade Marketing teams inclusive of trade tool kits, platforms and collaborative education and training for Fiji and Samoa business.
·  Assist in the dissemination and delivery of cycle instructions to National Field, ensuring attending and presenting cycle materials at cycle briefs where possible.

Essential Requirements

·  University degree in Business Management or Marketing related field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience a Marketing/Administration/Executive Support and/or similar role within BAT or another FMCG organization
·  Proven time management and planning skills, shown through experience in process/project management
·  Proven track record of on time in full delivery of tasks where others are reliant on the outputs
·  Proven ability of both written and oral communication skills
·  Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, highly numerical, fully confident in using data to inform decisions
·  Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office across Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
