PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To understand business requirements & processes and identify business technology and/or process opportunities, working with business & IDT managers to develop, implement and maintain solutions which deliver business value within agreed timelines and budget.

OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Orchestration:

·  Support the Regional Corporate & GBS (Shared Services) IDT Manager and in-Region IDT Stakeholders to ensure the change request process for the global platforms including but not limited to TaO (Global SAP ECC), SuccessFactors (Global HRIS) and Enable (SAP HR) is performed successfully with no business disruption and as per the agreed governance.
·  Understanding of the Global Platforms Governance and Release Management processes and act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) to support Business Analysts from all functions and shared service centres (GBS and Supply Chain Hubs) in the end to end cycle of a Change Request, ensuring all the required information, budget and resources are available.
·  Identification and resolution of obstacles for the Functions in the implementation of Change Requests, engaging with the necessary parties in Local, Regional and Global IDT and RPLs (Regional Process Leads).
·  Engagement with GBS (Shared Services), BoC – Business Optimization Centre (Regional Process Leads, etc), CoE (Centre of Excellence), FITMs (Functional IDT Managers), GAMs (Geographic Account Managers) and Regional Heads of IDT to ensure correct governance and timelines are followed, information is accurate and all necessary resources are available for the delivery of a change request be it in a global platform and/or the applicable legacy systems associated with the end to end change.
·  Identify potential impacts on regression scope and resourcing based on Functional IDT Portfolios and Planning cycle.

Process Optimisation:

·  Working with Regional and Global Projects, Centre of Excellence and Shared Services to:
·  reslve delays in UAT and Regression scenario review and sign off by the business for the global and regional platforms including but not limited to TaO (Global SAP ECC), SuccessFactors and Enable
·  ensure existing regressin scenarios are up to date and are updated subsequent to new functionality introduction or business model changes.
·  understand and adjust prcesses / scope to reflect changes in business models and corporate structures and transactional responsibilities i.e. the move of transactional responsibility (and therefore regression responsibilities) from End Markets to Shared Service Hubs, introduction of new commercial entities / companies, move from Distributor to DSS (Direct Sales) Route to Market (RTM) Model.
·  understand regressin impact due to associated project changes and support capture and articulation of required regional BA resource / Regional IDT support.
·  ensure mapping f regression scenarios to business models is up to date and business owners and key contacts are identified, maintained and up to date
·  ensure regressin scenarios are reviewed by the relevant business owners on a quarterly basis to confirm as fit for purpose

Budget Management Support:

·  Responsible for the execution, control and reconciliation of the Global budget pots both for Global Platforms and Regional / Local systems for the LFR related changes on behalf of the Global Corporate IDT Manager - Finance, ensuring governance is followed and that expenditure remains within the agreed budget, identifying potential issues, helping prioritize expenditure between functions and escalating as required.

Governance Forums:

·  Accountable for scheduling and chairing of the Operational Governance Group (OGG) in the Region to review, approve and prioritize change requests together with the Regional Process Leads (RPLs) and Functional IDT Managers (FITMs). Escalation of issues to the relevant Global Functional IDT Managers, Geographic Account Managers (GAMs) and Regional Heads of IDT when and if required.
·  Accountable for providing visibility of the change requests both in Global and Regional / Local systems to the Regional stakeholders and obtain proper budget approval and prioritization.
·  Regional representative at the governance forums for the Release Management process ensuring process is followed, status is aligned, and escalations are raised and resolved as necessary. This include being:
·  Key cntact in the regions for BAs and where needed Project Managers into the Release Management process.
·  Key cntact into the Regions and Functions for Centre of Excellence (CoE) and Enterprise Services Solution centres for escalations regarding regression completion or delays.
·  Respnsible for ensuring Change Requests are correctly allocated to an associated project or funding pot.
·  Respnsible for ensuring BAs and Project Managers (where relevant) mapped to each Change Request.
·  Respnsible for ensuring associated legacy changes and dependencies are mapped, with status aligned for end to end change when applicable.
·  Ensuring Business Requirements Dcuments have been captured and associated with each change request and have been approved / endorsed by Business Analysts.

Reporting:

·  Working closely with Centre of Excellence, Business Optimization Centre and Shared Services to leverage inputs for centralised and reusable status reporting.
·  Accountable for providing accurate reporting on the status and progress of Change Requests from draft to release. Responsible for ensuring scoping and distribution of required status and exception reports.

 

CORE RELATIONSHIPS

·  Solution Delivery / Centre of Excellence / Business Optimization Centre – Support activities needed for effective management and landing of changes into the Global and Regional platforms
·  Project Managers / Business Functions – Identification of non-project activities and resources needed for effective regression completion by geographies because of the changes introduced.
·  Planning – support the development of IDT plans and budgets via identification of potential regression scope / resource required
·  Business Partners and Business Unit IDT managers – collaborate on the provision of status updates of Change Requests. Co-ordination of regression completion in the regions and escalation and resolution of blockers.
·  IDT functional managers / BAs - work closely to ensure alignment of status into releases and allocation / alignment with project and LFR funding.
·  IDT Standards & Governance – collaborate to ensure effective application of standard processes, and identification of optimisation opportunities

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

·  Experience working as a part of, and ability to land, Global and Regional projects – regional / cross regional practical experience in projects such as ERP implementation, compliance (e.g. SOx), Business and IDT transformation projects, Legal entity / business model changes, etc
·  Experience working as a project delivery manager, preferably for regional projects involving multiple players.
·  Experience and strong understanding of general IDT Governance processes, including but not limited to Project Delivery, Change Management, Change Control
·  Extensive and substantial practical experience in contributing to and interpreting business process management and business metrics

 

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE

·  Understanding of the Business Processes across / in one of the areas supported by the associated system platforms that enable these processes i.e. TaO (Global SAP ECC), SuccessFactor and Enable (SAP HR)
·  Business-facing IDT experience in a global environment, preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline
·  Ability to interpret the business IDT and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions
·  Understanding and practical application of project management and System Software Development lifecycle methodologies i.e. PRINCE2, Agile etc
·  Understand the background, issues and implications of company and functional strategic imperatives
·  Experience of leading, influencing and operating in a complex geographical/ functional matrix organization
