Business Process Intern

Bright is a London based company of IT strategy experts who specialise in IT support and optimisation. We advise organisations on how best to align their business objectives with their IT infrastructure requirements, and we support our customers with technology solutions to meet their individual needs.

We are looking for a business process intern to document Bright end to end business processes, working with process owners to facilitate and manage the creation, review and update of process maps.

In additional to the title of Business Process Analysts, this role may also suit individuals who hold or have previously held the title of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst etc.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering improvements through standardisation and simplification. Gathering and analysing relevant data, you will produce “as is” process maps and be able to highlight immediate opportunities for improvement, and ultimately will work to produce “to-be” process maps and embed agreed process improvements.

You will document all business processes within the company and produce associated training materials for these.

Desired profile

Ideally you will be a student in their second or final year of university or a graduate studying for a relevant master degree. Previous process mapping experience would be a plus.

* Analytical, facilitation and process mapping skills
* Ideally working towards Lean/Six Sigma Certification or similar
* Confident communication skills
