Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join Brakes’ team in Harlow. The role is full time and offers a salary of £24,000 p.a. depending on experience as well as a bonus for any unsociable hours worked.

The role
As a Warehouse Operative you will work across a multi- temperature warehouse, which includes ambient, chill and frozen pick operations. You’ll also be responsible for the following:
• Accurately picking customer orders via voice activated technology
• Checking and unloading incoming deliveries
• Replenishing pick locations
• Cage assembly
• Loading vehicles for dispatch
• Complying with Health and Safety, hygiene and other appropriate policy/legislation

What you’ll need
• Experience working within a similar warehouse role
• Experience of working with manual handling equipment (FLT, Counterbalance, LLOP & Reach trucks)
• Flexibility to work across all areas of the warehouse and be physically fit
• A real customer focus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
