Job description

Braham & Murray, the company behind GOOD HEMP, the UK’s leading Hemp Food & Sports Nutrition Company, is looking for an intern. We are looking for someone very flexible and dynamic who could join us for a few months and help us, while learning, to build our brands online and with the press. It will be important for us to find the right person with the right personality to join our team.

The internship will be based in our office in Lower Earley, Reading.

You:
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (in English)
Self-motivated with a ‘Resilient’/’Can-do’ attitude (PR is hard-work but it is also very rewarding when you build something from the start)
Autonomous and feel comfortable dealing with the press, industry professionals and customers (there will be a lot going on and you will have the opportunity to own your project)
Ready to work in a small team and with non-traditional, Guerrilla-style methods
Creative
Ready to learn new skills
Marketing & PR experience is not required but a good marketing/brand intuition is necessary
Knowledge of SEO would be a bonus
Could be suitable for any graduates with a strong interest in PR/Communication and Marketing
Graduate calibre
Genuine interest in food/nutrition

What you will do:
Design and implement of our PR activities (selection of the leads, creation of a database of PR contacts, creation of press releases, initial contact, liaise with local distributors to coordinate activities, follow up).
Improve our Online presence (Social media, website, e-commerce platform, SEO management)
Take part in the day-to-day marketing activities of the company and regular discussions with regard to the marketing strategy of the business with the rest of the team
