Role synopsis
This position on the East team of the North America Gas & Power Business Unit will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling gas nominations on a daily basis. Some weekend rotation coverage is required for this position.
Please note that this is a BP temporary role anticipated to last from 12 - 18 months.

Key accountabilities
· Make required natural gas nominations to various gulf coast and/or NE market area pipelines and utilities using the appropriate computer systems.
· Assure flow of equity and 3rd party production.
· Manage and track imbalances on pipelines.
· Communicate market intelligence to trading teams.
· Identify and support efficiencies and improvements with operational processes.
· Monthly balancing in Energy Trading (ET) System.
· Maintain excellent working relationships with pipelines, customers and internal parties.
· Work with accounting to ensure accuracy in a timely fashion.
· Participation in rotational weekend nomination coverage.

Essential experience and job requirements
· Demonstrated knowledge in gas scheduling and transportation & operations
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
· Self-starter and independent thinker
· Proven ability to interact across trading, marketing & origination, commodity risk, settlements and other regional teams
· Ability to influence across various teams and levels
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
