Role synopsis
The Deal Entry Analyst will be part of the Global Oil Americas front office commercial trading teams. The position will be primarily responsible for deal entry for traders and other bench projects as needed.

Key accountabilities
· Ability to thoroughly understand and interpret the various deals transacted by the trading team and question any details that do not look accurate.
· Ensure internal deal entry tool is promptly updated with new deals including the reconciliation of any discrepancies and follow through to resolution.
· Accurately capture deals done by the traders, while complying with regulatory deal entry requirements, e.g. timely deal entry and resolution of issues preventing data flow for reporting requirements.
· Ensure deal entry metrics remain in line with the business unit's expectations and record explanations as to any deal entry errors.
· Maintain an up-to-date procedure and back up desk manual.
Essential Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria and qualifications
Oil industry experience.
