Role synopsis

This role will support the commercial delivery for WestCan M&O and Producer Service. Primary responsibilities include reconciling and tracking PnL activities in the M&O books. Providing high level of customer service and proactively manage customer relationships. Maintaining regular contact with customers throughout the year and to identify any challenges or opportunities to improve service level. Continuing to hold strong relationships with pipeline contacts and other customer contacts related to payment cycle, volume management and daily operations. The role will involve communicating across teams including trading, scheduling, product control and settlements. In addition, the marketing analyst will provide analytical support and aid originators in developing commercial opportunities.

Key accountabilities

·  Rigorous attention to PnL accuracy, exposures. Close coordination with Commodity Risk, Scheduling, Trading and Settlements.
·  Market and data analysis relation to strategic origination initiatives.
·  Generation of commercial margin ideas / opportunities and related business strategies
·  Quantify deal opportunities and aid in deal execution, all while operating within BPs “Code of Conduct” and “DOA” framework.
·  Working in conjunction with and supporting other teams such as Consumer Origination, Structured Products and Alliance NGL Business (ANB) teams.
·  Assist in monthly statement preparation and verification
·  Assisting with transport optimization and identifying transportation opportunities
·  Working with Marketers on Ad Hoc analysis requests
·  Working with Scheduling and daily field operations CSO's on ensuring allocations are correct
·  Answer customer queries including post transaction support.
·  Dealing with a high volume of customer inquiries daily
·  Accurate deal and data entry follow through into ET systems and TCPL systems
·  Working with IT on an ongoing basis to improve and automate existing processes
·  Sending out monthly transport renewal reminders
·  Adherence to BP's Compliance and Code of Conduct Policies
