Role synopsis
The Finance Services provides a wide range of accounting and advisory services both regionally
and globally. This includes Financial Accounting and Reporting, Performance Reporting
(financial analysis, cost/capital/ cash forecasting and management), and Credit and Advisory
services amongst others. The Finance Services also provides a talent pool to support Finance
resourcing and related project activities in the region. We have developed a strong reputation and
are recognized for providing quality and cost efficient services to the businesses and functions.
Tax , Control and Compliance (TCC) currently supports the Corporate Tax Compliance and reporting of several Asia Pacific countries (including Australia, New Zealand, China , Singapore and Malaysia) , UK and US. We also cover Indirect Tax, Internal Control, Group Transfer Pricing and Group Recharges.
BP's Indirect Procurement organisation is accountable for the strategy and commitment to the
marketplace for BP's spend, global off shoring, and Six Sigma quality to deliver financial value to the company, satisfaction to customers and challenging opportunities for IP employees.

Key accountabilities
The BP Global Business Service Centre (GBS) Asia Graduate Trainee Programme is an intensive 12-month structured programme that provides capable individuals with an opportunity to accelerate their potential and jump start their career. Coached individually by a buddy and a diverse pool of top-class professionals, graduate trainees will first undergo an intensive training cycle that will equip each individual with a solid foundation and the necessary skill sets. Graduate trainees will gain insights and hands-on experience with a great team as part of this cycle. Upon completion of this essential training, graduate trainees will then be given the opportunity to rotate in different functions within BP Global Business Service Centre (GBS) Asia.
Upon six months in the programme, graduate trainees will be eligible to pursue professional accreditation programmes such CPA, ACCA, etc.
Essential Education
· Bachelor's Degree and above in the relevant field (e.g.- Bachelor's Degree and above in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Human Resources or equivalent in a relevant field)
· Final year students or fresh graduates with less than 1 year of working experience
· Strong record of academic results with minimum Second Upper / CGPA 3.00 or its equivalent
· Malaysian citizen
· Open to work according to UK and US shift hours
