Role synopsis
This is an Executive Personal Assistant role with a difference, and it's a fantastic opportunity to expand your repertoire into Internal Communications.
Reporting to the Head of BP Global Business Services ANZ, you will provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support to a well respected, executive level leader. In addition, the role works in strong collaboration with the Internal Communications team to promote GBS ANZ initiatives and share leadership communications through effective internal channels including video, Yammer, newsletters and town-hall meetings. You will also be able to demonstrate your leadership capabilities, as you will have line management responsibility for our company receptionist.

Key accountabilities
Key accountabilities of the Personal Assistant / Internal Communications Officer role include:
· Manage the Head of GBS ANZ's diary and emails ensuring appropriate prioritisation
· Coordinate Leadership Team (LT) meetings, conferences and travel
· Manage the Receptionist in all day to day tasks as well as take on all line management responsibility
· Establish and maintain the editorial calendar for local communications across all channels
· Assist in innovative ways of communicating including social media, videos and infographics
· Work closely with the LT on communications, ensuring clear and transparent messaging across the business

Essential experience and job requirements
To be successful in the role you will have established experience as a personal assistant working with executive-level leaders, as well as a keen interest in communications and associated technology. Your organisational skills will be second to none, effectively managing competing and changing priorities in a dynamic and innovative environment. As the first point of contact for the Head of BP Global Business Services ANZ you will engage with team members at all levels of the organisation, therefore being able to effectively tailor your interactions in a diplomatic and confidential manner is essential. You will bring energy and drive to the team as well as strong leadership qualities and a focus on delivering results.
Experience in planning and preparing communication materials and advanced use of Microsoft Office are essential and a Degree in a Marketing or Communications will also be highly regarded. Importantly, you will enjoy working in a in a fast paced organisation where your support and contributions are respected and valued.
