The purpose of the role is to provide support to the sales organization by providing technical expertise to add value to the business by identifying customer's requirements and solving customer's problems which improves customer profitability.

Key accountabilities

·  Customer Engagement by building up customer relationship together with front line staff to support sales and product application, including Claim & Demo, customer trials;
·  Product Launch Support and Support sales team to acquire new business
·  Support sales and technical service engineers on troubleshooting and incident management
·  Conduct non-routine tests for specific customer requirements and troubleshooting including analytical test development, implementation and competitor benchmarking
·  Support QA/QC team and technical service engineers to minimize product quality & compliance risks;
·  Specific Product Quality accountabilities as detailed on the GLT role cards

Essential Education

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Desirable criteria and qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.

Essential experience and job requirements

·  Knowledge in industrial product application technology and a strong technical background.
·  Understanding of establishing and resolving complex technical/commercial applicationproblems.
·  Good interpersonal communication skills.
·  Ability to think conceptually and work with general guidance from management.
·  Excellent communication skills with a good command of English.

Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
