Position Overview: 
The Technical Manager for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and civil work designs.
 
This role requires close coordination with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure engineering deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- HV/MV Design Support
- Main Equipment Engineering:
- Oversee the design and engineering of HV/MV equipment.
- Verify supplier drawings and provide detailed comments for improvement.
- Participate in technical meetings with EQUANS and suppliers.

- Interface Management:
- Coordinate HV/MV interfaces between clients, suppliers and internal teams

- Civil Work Design Support
- Engineering Supervision:
- Oversee civil work designs.
- Verify contractor drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Provide detailed feedback to civil contractors and participate in technical discussions.

- Interface Management:
- Coordinate interfaces between clients, suppliers and internal teams.

 
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems and components.
- Proven experience with engineering verification and interface management.
- Ability to interpret and provide feedback on technical drawings and designs.
- Experience with SCADA and protection/control systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of civil engineering interfaces in BESS projects is a plus.
