The role:
Reporting to the Lead M&E Technician
To apply trade skills to maintenance, repairs and installation
Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of all systems and associated plant/equipment installed throughout the site
To order materials and services as required and update records
To work alongside specialist sub-contractors
Carry out new works as required i.e. new works, refurbishment and work associated with backlog maintenance programme
To carry out Portable appliance testing (PAT)
Working 40 hours per week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with participation in the on-call rota
The person:
Certification or qualifications in a relevant Mechanical & Electrical field an advantage
Experience in a relevant M&E trade discipline essential
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
Experience of working on a multi-site contract and working on client buildings
IT literate
Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
Able to obtain DBS clearance
