Graphics / Set Design Internship

Job description

B&H Group is looking for a candidate to undertake a part time graphics and set-design internship at a busy events company and bars group.

B&H Group is an independent events company and bar group responsible for some of London’s most popular and imaginative events and parties. B&H Group sells over 40,000 tickets annually under various brand names (including The Blitz Party and The Prohibition Party) to its many events in London and also owns 3 cocktail bars and a pub.

B&H Group will be able to offer the successful candidate an internship that provides hands on experience as well as training in graphic design, set-design, event production and prop sourcing.

Key duties will be:
- editing posters and flyers (Photoshop)
- prop making, sourcing props and materials (online or shopping in stores and markets)
- preparing printed materials (menus, signage...)
- setting up for events on-site

Desired profile

The successful candidate must have a passion for design, a hands-on attitude, a strong work ethic and an eye for aesthetics, all vital ingredients for this job. A working knowledge of the Adobe suite is a must.

London based candidates would be ideal, as a good knowledge of London's bar and event scene are important in this placement. As is good organisational and communication skills.
