Job description

A content writer is needed for developing unique content for client websites, company web properties and newsletters, including technical writing. The copywriter will also edit and revise existing content based on client’s keywords. This is an exciting position that will allow you to expand your knowledge in content marketing and the digital marketing field as a whole. This is an opportunity for a young, hungry, and competent content writer to gain experience while working remotely. The job consists of the following:

- Copy-editing and proof reading articles and other web content.
- Writing corporate content for both our own product and for clients.
- Writing articles and blogs for distribution in a number of different industry sectors.
- Finding and developing new ideas for web content.
- Assuring web content is user-friendly and key-worded for SEO benefit
- Writing technical product reviews for clients.

Routine writing tasks include the following:

- Research, write and edit web and intranet content from scratch
- Write web content based on material supplied by client or employer
- Edit print documents for publication online
- Edit web pages for on-screen readability
- Write material for ezines
- Proofread final draft of web pages.

Desired profile

The qualifications required for the content writer is as follows:

- A graduate with a good command over the English language.

- A flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet.

- An ability to work in a team with good communication skills.

- An effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly. A knack for editing and proof reading with good research skills.
