Your contribution to something big

Technician duties will include setting up and running various vibration and combined environment tests on electrodynamic and hydraulic vibration test systems. Tests types include but are not limited to: Sine, Random, and Shock with temperature cycling and humidity.
•Responsible for test fixture modification and setup of DUT monitoring and control hardware.
•Preparing test reports.
•Basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of the vibration test systems.
•In addition to vibration test support duties the NVH technician will also support noise testing using the anechoic test chamber and a data acquisition system.
•Responsible for acoustic test setup, data collection and reporting.

What distinguishes you

•2 year degree in a technical field or 3 years’ experience working in a test lab.
•Experience using test meters and oscilloscopes.
•Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing test requirements.
•Ability to manage priorities to support multiple customer requests.
•Quick learner with both hands-on testing and computer applications.
•Self-driven, taking initiative to maximize work load while maintaining quality and compliance with processes.
•Apply 5S principals to daily work maintaining a clean, well-organized work area.
•Able to apply continuous improvement of processes to improve productivity and drive cost reduction.
•Willing to modify work schedule (10 am - 7 pm most days) to provide overlapping shifts and weekend support
•Work overtime on short notice during peak demands as required by customer.
•Energetic; self-starter, accountable and motivated to grow into position.
•Familiarity with Dactron Laser USB vibration controllers and Head Acoustics Artemis Data Acquisition System is preferred.
