Your contribution to something big
Be part of the Chassis Controls team North America and focus specifically on the development of functions, designed for electric vehicles. You will be responsible for the S/W development and calibration of an iBooster (electromechanical brake booster) for a California based OEM, who is building a very sporty sedan.
Main tasks are: Algorithm Software Engineering for iBooster and Calibration of the iBooster. The responsibility covers the complete V-model, from analysis of customer requirements to test and release. You will interface with the platform team in Germany, same as a supporting team in India and the US.
Travel to support in-vehicle testing at both winter and summer test tracks in the US and customer meetings as required. Participate in technical discussions with the customer.
Travel Expectation: 10-15%
What distinguishes you
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related Engineering degree.
• 2+ years of brake actuation experience.
• 1+ years of customer interaction experience.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with methods and tools for control system and software development such as C/C++ and model based programming tools.
• Knowledge of vehicles dynamics, preferably brake actuation and pedal feel.
• Experience with the development of embedded control software in Automotive Systems.
• High-flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited time.
• Willingness to take responsibility.
• Good communication skills in customer interactions.
