Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Software Engineer – Computer Vision at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. The Software Engineer – Computer Vision will develop and implement computer vision algorithms for embedded driver assistance cameras for both mono and stereo vision. S/he will adapt and improve algorithms to support current driver assistance functions. S/he will prototype and develop new perception capabilities on production intent hardware. S/he will document and manage software requirements and architecture. S/he will perform software validation and debugging using bench simulations and in-vehicle testing. S/he will support tool development related to vision algorithms including hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, measurement and simulation tools. Telecommuting permitted. REQS: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, 2 years of experience in software development within an industry setting, such as automotive or defense. Additionally, the applicant must have some professional or coursework experience with: (1) algorithm development for embedded systems; (2) developing software applications and implementation using C++; (3) using existing open source libraries such as OpenCV as well as original algorithm development to develop computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms; and (4) using tools such as Matlab or ROS (Robotics Operating System) or ADTF (Automotive Development Time Triggered Framework) for development and simulation of computer vision and vehicle motion control algorithms.
