Your contribution to something big
This position is for a Resident Engineer supporting automotive & truck video applications and systems. This position will require part time presence at customer site at Daimler Truck North America . This position (due to customer location being far from Bosch location) will require ability to work remotely, independently, in virtual team, and virtual office settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordinate open issues meetings and follow up on open items, coordinate design, DFMEA, DVP&R, and other technical reviews meetings. Attend all relevant meetings at customer site, support packaging activities, provide and maintain devise transmittal forms and other work products, lead validation efforts from bench through prototype vehicle level testing, track and facilitate release of Bosch components in customer system. Review process standards, provide on-site support at customer plants (as needed), provide support to Tier 1 (if applicable) during production launch.
What distinguishes you
Basic Qualifications:
BSEE, BSCS, BSME, or equivalent
2+ years of experience in automotive industry.
Possess valid CDL or willing to obtain it as a part of ramp up in this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good communication skills, fast learner, flexible (can switch easily between different nature tasks and assignments). Capable of multitasking, dealing with multiple projects and priorities, able to work remotely and independently with little supervision. Capable of coping with repetitive tasks, well organized, self-starter.
30% Travel will be needed to and from the customer, location of this in Plymouth, MI
