Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Network Engineer, Sr at its facility located at 1800 W. Central Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Oversee the 4 Data Centers in the America’s region, 2 in the US and 2 in Brazil, and will serve as a lead liaison between the WAN Team and the Network NOC located in Suzhou China. Install and configure all network components (LAN and WAN) following the global concepts, & responsible for following Bosch defined O1,O2,O3 processes, incident, problem, & change mgnt. Telecomm permitted 2 day/wk. 10% intl & domestic travel required.

What distinguishes you

REQS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Comp Sci, Chemical Eng, Telecomm Eng, or related field, & 5 yrs of progressively responsible, post baccalaureate work exp in network eng or w/network systems. Must have professional exp w/: 1) Vast route switch network, incl certification CCNP or greater; 2) Load Balancers Cisco ACE, radius & TACACS authentication for network services; 3) Network platforms Cisco IOS Cat 6500 & 6800, Nexus 5500 and 9000 & ASA’s; 4) Operating service provider technologies BGP/OSPF (routing protocols), MPLS, & QoS; 5) Network & application foundation protocols incl TCP/IP, IPV4/IPV6, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS; 6) Troubleshooting applications across WAN utilizing Wireshark & overall protocol knowledge to troubleshoot; & 7) Project mgmt, incl MS Project & Project Management methods, to lead Network related projects from discovery through closing.
