Your contribution to something big

Assist in event planning of 75+ events executed by the marketing team. Learn the intricate details of event programming for a major automotive supplier, working with the marketing team to present brands in creative and experiential ways. Learning objectives are achieved through training, observation and learning by doing under close supervision with constructive feedback.

Your responsibilities:

·  Daily review of open tradeshows
·  Support marketing planning of shows
·  Administrative support – logistics and scheduling
·  Write events promotional plans

What distinguishes you

·  Current student working towards completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either Marketing, Events, Advertising, Public Relations or related required.
·  0-1+ years’ experience in related field; will consider prior internship or co-op experience required.
·  Prefer proficiency in Microsoft applications.
·  Ability to work in team environment.
·  Ability to multitask.
·  Strong organizational skills.
·  Ability to have open communication with minimum direction.
·  Open to local Michigan students only.
·  Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without VISA sponsorship.
