Your contribution to something big

·  Modern advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) tend to an increased use of machine learning algorithms. Recently especially camera based systems experience an excessive deployment in ADAS.
·  Particularly, deep neural networks (DNN) help perceive surrounding traffic scenes. However, their application requirements are especially demanding in terms of memory bandwidth, computational performance and power consumption.
·  We are looking for motivated students who are interested in fulfilling the following tasks:
·  Evaluate and analyze training, compression and mapping methods for DNN onto dedicated hardware accelerators
·  Implement hardware acceleration modules for promising methods

What distinguishes you

·  Master Student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or similar
·  Programming skills in Python/C++ or equivalent
·  Preferably experience with machine learning
·  Experience with embedded systems, FPGAs, microcontrollers, etc.
·  Programming skills VHDL or Verilog
·  Research motivation and problem solving skills
