Renningen, near Stuttgart, is the new hub of the Bosch Group’s global research and advance engineering activities. Here around 1,600 employees from the center for research and advance engineering will develop new materials, methods, and technologies, along with new systems, components, and production processes.

Tasks

Development of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) films for engine applications.
You are going to work in our vacuum and plasma coating team to support our research activities in the development of new materials and concepts for future functional layers.

· Preparation of ALD films
· Characterization of ALD films with various methods
· Scientific presentations in the team and documentation of the achieved results

Requirements

· Strong background in one of the following fields: materials science, chemistry, physics, or process engineering with preferentially knowledge in thin film deposition technology and characterization
· Have a strong interest for experimental and laboratory work
· Show initiative & have a systematic way of working
· Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

Start: according to prior agreement
Length of this internship: 5 - 6 months
