Tasks
· Improvement of the inner cell design of the PHEV2 footprint (goal: increasing the cell energy density and minimizing the cell void space)
· Development of novel and creative ideas for the mechanical cell design
· Systematic assessment of the ideas and coordination of the prototype assembling
· Testing and analysis of the prototypes regarding the mechanical properties
· Support in the development of a FE model for numerical simulation of the cell
· Intensive consulting and cooperation with development partners
Requirements
· Minimum Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering
· Experience in Lithium ion cell development and construction
· Experience in testing and analyzing of test results
· Unconventional way of thinking
· Ability for analytical and systematical thinking and acting
· Very good English skills
· Interests in a cooperation in a cross-cultural environment
