Job description

Tasks
· Lead and execute customer projects and provide customer support for ETAS TV (Test and Validation) solutions according to ETAS processes. Support the post-sales cycle through technical assistance, including system installation, troubleshooting, phone and onsite support, application workshops, and training.
· Provide high-value customer support for ETAS TV products and solutions. Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of ETAS TV products and customer applications. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of other ETAS products, with a focus on calibration and prototyping.
· Support the pre-sales cycles through technical assistance, including product presentations, demonstrations, customer requirements analysis, specification generation, etc.
· Assist other Application Engineers with TV-related projects
· Utilize the appropriate ETAS internal processes to document and manage all internal and external support activity (e.g. beta testing of new products, customer requirements capture, etc.).
Requirements
· Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in E.E. or M.E. (M.S. preferred) with 3-5 years applicable experience.
· Background in the use of hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) systems for embedded software testing and validation.
· Strong background in circuits and other electrical/electronic components (e.g. design, layout, analysis, troubleshooting) used in HiL systems. Experience with CAD software for printed circuit board (PCB) design a plus.
· Basic knowledge and experience with automotive control systems—hardware and/or software—and associated development tools. This includes knowledge of vehicle electronics, bus protocols, electrical systems and ECUs.
· Working knowledge of Mathworks tools: Matlab and Simulink.
· Strong customer relationship management skills required - including excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills, necessary for effective customer interaction and internal cross-functional teamwork.
