For our site in Siegen, Germany, we are currently looking to recruit a: Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer (m/f) Main tasks: Support with the Supplier Approval Process (strategic & project-specific) • Support the search and development of new suppliers (including supplier evaluation) in order to ensure a global and competitive supply base Parts Approval Process (PAP-Process) • Execute approval activities: - Quality Contract Review (QCR) - Pre-manufacturing Review (PMR) - First Article Inspection (FAI) - Customer First Article Inspection (CFAI) - First System Installation Inspection (FSII) • Support customer-specific approval activities at the supplier's • If needed, provide technical support to suppliers in the production • Follow-up of open items • Support suppliers in case of technical questions - in collaboration with Engineering and Methods department Execution of Audits/ supplier supervision • Act as interface towards the suppliers for any quality related question • Proactive supplier development • Support suppliers during customer-audits • Support follow-up activities for claims with suppliers (NCRs) incl. an action plan with corrective and preventive action requests Job: Wheel-Rail Interface Primary Location: DE-NW-Siegen Organization: Transportation Schedule: Full-time Employee Status: Regular Job Posting: 02.09.2015, 8:40:31 AM Unposting Date17.10.2015, 4:59:00 PM

Desired profile

Qualifications Requirements: • Successfully completed apprenticeship (technical or commercial)• 2-5 years of experience in a comparable position• Knowledge about problem solving methods and non-destructive testing methods• Profound knowledge about the railway industry, relevant products and requirements; ideally experienced with SNCF• Strong communication skills as well as ability to work in functional as well as cross-functional teams• Very good written and spoken English and French language skills, German appreciated• Experience in auditing according to internal and external (customer-specific) standards• Extensive travelling as well as ability and willingness to work independently in an international environment is required We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
