A new opportunity has been created for an experienced Product Introduction Coordinator to join the team as part of the QNGR Maintenance Depot in Wulkuraka, Ipswich. The role of the PI Coordinator is to implement all planned and unplanned retrofit/modification activities of the QNGR Fleet. It provides the link between Production, Procurement, Methods, QA, Factory testing, Suppliers, and BT divisions as well as assists in the continuous improvement of performance through the retrofits/modification of the QNGR vehicle and of the A&M/PI Services team.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include the following:
• Lead and coordinate the closure of the Open Items at Shipment, missing material list, Open CR and NCR from the factory and ensure the list is complete in Log book when the vehicles are getting dispatched from factory.
• Lead the team and execute the retrofits/modifications by leading the core team from Procurement, Methods, QA, Factory testing.
• Liaise with Procurement for arranging the retrofit materials/kit, Methods for work instructions, QA and Maintenance Planner for scheduling the retrofit/modification program.
• Liaise with the Commissioning & Testing Engineer\s for testing of the QNGR vehicle after completion of the retrofit/modification activities and complete the necessary documentation after the testing.
• Produce and provide daily, 3-day and 7-day look ahead plans to the Fleet Director/Project Management and visualisation board .
• Liaise with the Maintenance Operations Manager for getting the manpower to execute the Retrofit/modifications program.
• Liaise with QA (BTA Milton) and SQA ( BTI Savli) for closing the Open CR, NCR and P8 items list.
• Ensure that Vehicle Logbook files are up to date by closing the Maximo open work orders.
• Represent the PI Manager as required

Qualifications
As an experienced communications advisor or lead with 3-5 years experience, you will be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• A qualified tradesperson (Electrical or Mechanical) or a mechanical or electrical aptitude as a minimum.
• Planning and scheduling experience a clear advantage
• Strong computer literacy in MS Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Access)
• Working knowledge of Maximo CMMS or other maintenance management system highly desirable
• Excellent time management
• Strong computer skills
• Creativity
• Flexibility and ability to manage several diverse activities or projects at any given time.
• Self starter and initiative taker
• Strong attention to detail
