Based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, you will work closely together with operations to support that quality is built in to the product from the start. Also you will support the cells in implementing, managing and improving all quality relevant elements, such as product quality requirements, the process preparation, in process control, feedback/feed forward, and quality process management.

In your role you will:

- Support operations and especially the cells in the proper usage of Q6 and BiQ elements
;- Identify reoccurring and systematic problems, initiating of problem solving processes, supporting feedback process and integration of lessons learned into causing functions
;- Perform the final inspection before hand over to the customer
;- Support the effective problem solving by leading and conducting problem solving processes, using structured problem solving methods like Practical Problem solving (Ishikawa, 5Why), Kepner Tregoe, 8D.

Desired profile

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor's degree or a Technologist Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
;- You cumulate three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a relevant role
;- You have a background in the Transportation, Aviation or Automotive industry
;- You have experience in quality standards and quality checks, Q6 standards and elements, especially feedback and feed forward processes, quality gates and problem solving
;- You possess good knowledge of our products and their acceptance criteria
;- You have worked closely with methods, the manufacturing area and the continuous improvement area
;- You are familiar with PDCA, Lean, BOS
;- Your problem solving and interpersonal skills are strong
;- Your English communication skills are excellent.
