For our site in Mannheim, Germany, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and motivated ETCS Test Engineer (m/f). In this role your main responsibility will be to test the ETCS Onboard system and its subsystems against specified requirements following an EN50128 SIL4 compliant test process. You will be fully in charge of test design and implementation placing focus on reproducibility, completeness, and availability as the safety critical nature of the products introduces special restrictions on the test design and implementation.

Your Tasks:

• Definition and maintenance of test strategies, test plans, and test environments
• Test design, implementation, execution, and report on system and subsystem level
• Review the testability of requirements and the completeness of architectures & designs
• Root cause and impact analyses

Desired profile

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Computer Science or other equivalent education (e.g. Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in embedded systems testing
• Good knowledge of ETCS, basic knowledge of SysML/UML, C/C++
• Knowledge of functional safety (particularly EN50128)
• Drive for result, proactive, self-propelled working style
• Analytical, innovative and solution focused thinking, ability to communicate complex concepts in the team
• Business fluent in English
