We are currently looking to recruit for an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer (m/f)
at our location in Hennigsdorf

Your tasks
• Assessment of requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) from customer requirement specifications
• Evaluation of EMC risks for new developments and definition of mitigation measures
• Creation and release of EMC requirement specifications
• Development of EMC validation plans
• Guide EMC - compliant design of the electrical equipment
• Application and development of methods to maintain and improve the EMC characteristics of rail vehicles, taking into account cost optimization
• Preparation of test specifications for EMC tests
• Testing of EMC for vehicles and demonstration of compliance with national and international standards
• Creation of change impact analyzes
• Coordination and cooperation with external partners (EMC laboratories, assessors)
• Active participation in homologation of rail vehicles in the field of EMC
• Follow the development of relevant standards
• Participation in national standardization bodies

Qualifikationen

• Master degree in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, propulsion technology or similar
• Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas
• Experience in the field of EMC, propulsion technology, power electronics or circuit simulation is desirable

• Self-responsibility and assertiveness
• Analytical thinking and self-initiative
• Structured way of working
• Very good communicative skills
• Business fluent in English and German.
