For the HR SSO - Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Purpose of the Job:
The HR Shared Service manages the employee Reward service for the BT divisions worldwide. Functional Experts work with the HR teams in the business to set strategy, develop processes and ensure effective governance of the Reward framework.
The role of the Reward function is to ensure that employees are Rewarded in a manner that attracts them, retains and motivates (AR & M) them while with Bombardier. The Reward function will also manage the delivery of the solutions, be it establishing a new remuneration package, managing the pay reviews and incentive cycles or handling compensation or benefits queries from suppliers to employees and managers.
The Reward role holder is responsible for the routine reward activity for a particular country or small region and the through close supervision for non standard activities, handling processes such as grading, benchmarking, transfer costing and condition preparation, preparation and delivery of local and executive salary reviews and BT incentive calculations with respect to country/region or division.
The job holder will also project manage the implementation of global processes for the country cluster supported and work with the Functional Experts to ensure that any changes to reward in those countries are reflected in the work instructions, documentation and processes applied within the Shared Service Operations.
Key responsibilities and challenges:
Reward Process
- Implementing Reward process changes.
- Process complex and non standard Reward transactions, tax deductions, external supplier queries.
- Manage escalations to HRBPs, managers, third parties and queries from within different SSO work streams.
- Advice and guidance to customers and HR Colleagues regarding Reward processes.
- Standard Reward reporting, data analysis, statistics and consolidation.
Process/ Country Expertise
- Develop, share, manage and support the Reward process implementation for a country cluster.
- Understand country regulations; ensure changes are applied to the Reward processes in partnership with HRBPs.
- Provide salary recommendation, internal and/or external benchmarks, position grading.
- Coordinate Reward annual cycles for allocated countries, region and division, for individual, team, projects and reward results. Handle and provide solutions for grading, benchmark, Factsheets producing, benefit queries.
Customer Service
- Ensure that all aspects of work are completed to deadlines and meet quality requirements.
- Ensure effective communication and customer focused behaviour to enhance customer satisfaction requirements.
Project Activities
- Participate in Reward projects to develop, improve, standardize actual and new processes, standards and activities to continuously improve service delivery.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
- Education: Degree level qualification. HR qualifications an advantage, but not prerequisite.
- 1-3 years of work experience in Compensation & Benefits / Payroll / Finance
- Proficiency in English; any other European language would be an advantage.
- Good level in Microsoft Office Excel
- Excellent stakeholder & time management skills, organizational ability.
- Positive and proactive attitude, with resilience under pressure.
