Job description

In Austria, IAEA is the biggest client where there is a control tower in place organizing worldwide transports for this United Nations unit. Main origin countries for that business are Austria, Denmark, Finland, UK and United States with destinations in South America / Africa / Asia and Austria. Bolloré Logistics Austria is today looking for an agent operations to be part of the control tower team.
Main task : Handle the pick of orders due to IAEA increase of activity.
Stearing, monitoring of worldwide shipments related to IAEA and communicate with BLX worldwide entities, clients and suppliers
- Identify and answer to customers’ transport needs, advise clients for freight forwarding concerns, select suppliers based on the expressed needs and the purchasing policy determined by the company, negotiate a purchase price for each service, determine sales price depending on the delivery and incoterms and inform customers.
- Receive documentation and merchandise store entrance, check documentation compliance according the international regulations of trade and the applicable procedure, communication necessary information and documents to establish customs formalities, write, edit and send transportation documents to the carrier.
- Check transport execution at each step, according to incoterms liability and realization conditions, define operational procedures binded to quotation.
Education :
All VIE need to be aged from 18 to 28 years old.
A Degree acquired in a Business or Engeneering School, with a specialization in transport and logistics field.
Professionnal experience :
A first experience in freight forwarding (air) is required.
Technical skills :
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Really good knowledge of english, speaking French or German would be appreciated.
Good with analysis and synthesis.
Personnal requirements Good interaction with people within a team, being rigourous, autonomous, able to deal with short deadline.
Being enthousiastic and flexible.
